500 g boneless chicken breast (cut into chunks)
1 egg
4 tbsp cornstarch
Salt and pepper to taste
Oil for frying
For the sauce:
3 tbsp ketchup
3 tbsp vinegar
2 tbsp soy sauce
3 tbsp sugar
1 tsp cornstarch + 3 tbsp water (for thickening)
Mix the chicken with egg, salt, pepper, and cornstarch to coat.
Deep-fry the chicken until golden and crispy. Set aside.
In a pan, mix the sauce ingredients and cook until it starts to bubble.
Add the fried chicken to the sauce and stir until well coated.
Serve hot with white rice.
