2 pie crusts (store-bought or homemade)
6 apples (peeled and sliced)
1/2 cup sugar
2 tbsp flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 egg (for brushing)
Preheat oven to 180 °C (350 °F).
In a bowl, mix apples with sugar, flour, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
Place one crust in a pie dish, add filling, and top with second crust (whole or lattice).
Seal edges and brush top with beaten egg.
Bake for 45–50 minutes until golden brown. Cool before slicing.
